1-Phenyl-3-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid (abbreviated BTMPC) is an organic compound. Its chemical formula is C10H6F3NO2.

Nature:
BTMPC is a colorless to slightly yellow crystalline solid. Its melting point is between about 80-84°C. The compound is stable at room temperature, soluble in most organic solvents, and slightly soluble in water.

Use:
BTMPC is mainly used as a catalyst in organic synthesis reactions. It can catalyze many important reactions of organic compounds, such as cyanide reaction, Suzuki cross coupling reaction and Stille cross coupling reaction.

Preparation Method:
BTMPC can be synthesized by a concise synthetic route. A common synthetic method is the reaction of 1,3-pyrazole dicarboxylic acid with trifluoromethylphenyltin trifluoride to yield BTMPC.
